Volunteer

IMG_3859.png
As a part of our program, Parents/Guardians are required to complete a minimum of 4 volunteer hours per year.
We believe children can learn valuable lessons and skills from their parents, which is why we provide several opportunities for parent/child interaction during school time.
Volunteer positions include, but are not limited to, classroom aids, field trip chaperones, guest speakers, or outdoor-time supervisors. Our hope is to engage Parents/Guardians and students in activities where both parties are actively learning from each other.
Volunteering allows for parents to get to know their children's teachers. It is important for your child to see a positive home/school connection. Volunteer hours must be completed by a parent or legal guardian, not a caretaker. We understand Parents/Guardians have busy schedules, which is why we have an in lieu fee as a less preferred alternative.
